It is always a family tradition the minute the movie " Christmas Story" comes on Christmas Eve our t.v. immediatly goes to TBS for the 24 hour marathon. Yes it is on for 24 hours and we watch it off and on for that long. It is always in the background while opening presents on Christmas morning and it is always in all the pictures and videos we take on Christmas day. I get a warm tickeling feeling inside just thinking about that movie...I wont buy it though, it is better to catch it on T.V. that day! I fall asleep to it each night and laugh at parts I have seen a million times. Nothing is better than tradition on Christmas and this is just one of ours.
Does anyone else watch this movie non stop or have a favorite Christmas movie you can't get enough of?? I encourage you to try "The Christmas Story" this holiday....surely you can catch it within 24 hours of non stop play :)

Kara, We also watch this movie every year and have already seen it atleast a dozen times this year. I've already got Dalton hooked he refers to it as "The Your Gonna Shoot Your Eye Out Movie"
Yes! We do the same thing. It is on all night on Christmas Eve and I turn it on as soon as I get up on Christmas Day!

I can never wait that long to watch it, so we bought it (first on VHS years ago, then on dvd). We quote that movie all year long. It doesn't get any better. I remember when Emily was learning to talk, we taught her to say Ho, ho, ho like that mean Santa and his elves. We all have our own favorite lines.
We are so excited for Kacie to watch it this year and actually understand it and watch the whole thing. THis is one of our favorites too. We have been pretty disappointed so far though cuz it hasnt been on yet so we will just wait but we seriously look for it every night!!!!
