Baby Friends

This weekend my BFF Hannah hosted a bbq. The weather was beautiful and since three of my 5 close buds have babies, we wanted to get them all together. Here is a before picture at my friend Rebecca's shower last August/July.

Here we are!!! Me..7-8 months preggers, Hannah already had baby, and Becca almost due.

Now....7 months later

Hannah with Porter 18 months, Me and Tucker 4 1/2 months, Rebecca and Preston 7 months. Wow how time flies. It was great to finally get all three kids together. We have putting off getting together due to illnesses and holiday time but we are hoping to make it a once a month deal at someone's house! Besides, this kids will all be best buddies very soon. More pics of just the boys

This one is funny...they are all trying to figure each other out...

Still wondering what is going on.......

and Tucker mad..very mad..he gets that red face from his daddy.

Catching UP

Today is 65 and sunny...so automatically I woke up with a smile on my face! The weekend looks low 40s and rainy but we wont talk about that yet.....Here are some things I have been up to:

- Tucker is starting to YELL/SCREAM. Its a high pitched wine and we laugh every time he does it. He is learning all these different things he can do but the SCREAM is the best. He does it to get our attention, or just because he can. We might not think its so cute in a month but right now its priceless.

-Tucker also had his third ear ache. Luckily I caught it early enough before it got bad. He is loving his cereal and fruit in the evenings and he is so close to rolling over it is killing us. I doing much better about the sleeping situation also, but when he wakes up to eat around 4 or 5 I am not putting him back down in his bed like I should, I blame this on sleep deprivation. I mean I do have to still get up and go to work so whatever sleep I can get I take :)

- Nothing is better feeling than waking up on a Saturday and not having plans the WHOLE entire day!! I love to just stay home with Tuck and Nate and enjoy the day doing NOTHING!!!!! A year ago I would never be on a Saturday.....

-I am hoping to find a very responsible babysitter to come to MY house and keep Tucker some this summer and put off child care as long as I can.

-My house is never ever clean and laundry is never done and I am ok with that!

March of Dimes is doing great so far. I am getting tee shirts printed soon and the cookbook is well on its way to getting done. We are also excited about our yard sale and getting things gathered to make a big profit!!!!

Driving myself crazy typing recipes, staying up late working to raise money, helping the fight against premature birth.....PRICELESS!!!!

My only idea right now: " Cooking time for March of Dimes". ah, it could work.

Another Year

Another year, Another blog message and another march. In the last three years my friends and family and myself have been supporting the March of Dimes.
Here is the back stories of how I became so compassionate for the March of Dimes. Read here read here next Read here after that
Now that you are all caught up I am excited once again to be supporting the March of Dimes. We have several projects up our sleeves again this year to raise even MORE money than in the past. Last year we raised over 3,000.00 dollars and this year we are going for more. I am very grateful this year to be walking, not only for all babies but for my own baby. Nate and I were blessed with a beautiful health baby boy and we owe it all to March of Dimes!

We will be hosting another yard sale this year to raise money. We are almost postive the Yard Sale will be April 17th. Check back for more details. If anyone is interested in donating any items for the yard sale...let me know! All proceeds will go towards March of Dimes. We are hoping to have several DIY projects included in the sale to bring BIG money. I am also making a cookbook with family recipes and a fun drink section. These will be on sale very soon.A rough idea of cost will be 10.00 And don't forget we always have Kailee Team tee shirts for sale. These are new and improved this year. They will be a hot item and I will not be ordering extra so let me know asap if you want one. We will all be wearing them at the walk.

If anyone is interested in helping or supporting just let me know. And how great would it be to meet some blogging friends at the walk....YEH!!!! If you are interested in walking its Saturday May 1st downtown Cape Girardeau,MO! Get excited..more updates on March of Dimes to come soon.

Here is a blog that needs your prayers! I have been reading her blog for quite some time and would LOVE to meet her person. Megan and her husband are having their first baby boy this year and through some ultrasounds they have found some heart conditions. God is great people and through prayer a lot of miracles can happen. Baby Cohen needs miracles and I believe it can happen! So lets pull together and pray. This story with Megan is right on track for the March of Dimes post as well. With the help of March of Dimes, money and time will be donated to help babies like Cohen be born the healthiest they can!!
So click on over and show Megan some support..and this year for our March of Dimes walk we will all have Cohen in our HEARTS!

Fish Update

Tuna on crackers, tuna fish salad, tuna on salad, tuna on bread, tuna with cheese....you get the picture right?
There has been a whole lot of tuna going on around my place. I have to admit I am burned out pretty bad already. And its just the beginning.
The worst of it. I will eat tuna fish for lunch and do great and then once a year these cute girls sell these delicious cookies and I have been eating those delicious cookies after my tuna fish...kinda defeating the purpose right? Yep think so.

Update on Tucker. We have gone a week and a half without a cough or snotty nose. (knock on wood). Hopefully spring is a coming and we can look forward to no more snotty noses. Tucker is laughing out loud a lot and it is the funniest thing EVER. You should see how crazy Nate and I act to make him laugh. I am sure we are more funny than he is to watch. He no longer stay where you put him on the floor. He is moving all over the place on his back. He loves his jumper!!! Best investment ever. Its soooo sad how fast he is growing up BUT we love to see his personality. I can't believe how fast it all goes..he is 15 weeks ...gasp!
He no longer has his dark hair he was born with...it is almost all blond. And those blue eyes...lady getter one day :). We are still battling with him at night kinda but the best response I got was to put him in his playpin beside our bed until I am ready for him to sleep across the hall. Now that it is March, we are just waiting on warm weather so Tuck can bounce around outside and we can go on walks and to the park!!! We also showed him the pool last Sunday...man I hope he enjoys the water as much as we do or else it will be a long summer.
