RIP

Macey Lou Dirnberger

December 16, 2006-----Febuary 2009

I can finally grief for Macey. We found her last night in the neighbors pond. She was walking on ice and slipped in and couldn't fight her way out. I have cried all night BUT in a way I feel a bit relieved. I finally have the answers I have been looking for and I know that someone isn't hurting her. She is chasing balls in doggie heaven (cause I believe there really IS a place). She will be greatly missed. My niece and nephews will make me a beautiful tombstone for her to be buried in the back yard so she will always be will us. Our new dog Daisy does NOT replace her but only makes me realize how much she will be just like Macey. I just wanted everyone to know and thanks for all the prayers! Daisy is making her way into our hearts but never will she be our Macey Dog!!!

Oh, poor poor thing. I couldn't imagine what she was feeling and what you must be feeling. As sad as you probably are, it's so good that you have closure with what happened to her! I just can't imagine what you are going through! The terror and heart break is probably unbearable! I'm so very sorry for you loss but Macey is probably up there playing with my kitty Oscar and he was a lover so know that she is good hands! He's very welcoming and comforting too! :(

Keep Daisy close and love her! :)

So sorry to hear about Macey. I am glad you are able to grieve her and can have peace of mind knowing that she is safe at rest in her own backyard and forever remembered for the joy she brought to you.

I'm so sorry Kara, I believe to that Macey is catching balls and sticks in doggie heaven.

You don't need to feel that way we did it because we wanted to!! I know you've had alot going on. I'm just thankful I met you through the blog world. Maybe someday there will be a blogger convention we can meet at. ; )

I started crying when I read that...I'm so sorry to hear that she didn't survive, but at least you know where she is now.

Okay, so I have been out of the loop for a while now, but I am just not reading about Macey. I am sooo sorry. They are just as much apart of a family, so I know you must be having a hard time. Anyways, I hope all is well, and I am thinking about you all!

My heart broke to pieces when I read this. I am so sorry, my dear. I truly believe Macey is up there somewhere, having the time of her life. I hope time, closure, and your new puppy will help heal. You will always have a spot in your heart for Macey.
